Speech and Debate Team
Taylor High School's Speech and Debate Team is student organization that competes in district, state and national events. Such contests range from oral speaking, current events, student congress, and government policies. Often exemplifying good values and ethics, Taylor High School Students who have participated in Debate have graduated from Yale, Harvard, and Princeton. This illustrates students involved in Speech and Debate have excellent career success.
Taylor High School's Debate Team is involved in 4 academic leagues:
-University Interscholastic League (UIL)
-Texas Forensic Association (TFA)
-National Forensic League (NFL)
-National Tournament of Champions (TOC)
This student organization is a favorite for Students Are United.
